Mexico Terminates Anti-dumping Measures on Aluminum Discs from China

On November 4, 2025, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced that, given the lack of received sunset review applications from Mexican producers, it decided to terminate the anti-dumping measures on aluminum discs (Spanish: discos de aluminio) originating from China, effective November 7, 2025. The TIGIE tariff code for the product in question is 7616.99.10. The announcement took effect from the date of its issuance.

On August 9, 2019, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation into aluminum discs originating from China. On March 27, 2020, Mexico issued a preliminary affirmative determination, imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty of 37.88% on the product. On November 6, 2020, Mexico issued a final affirmative determination, formally imposing an anti-dumping duty of US$1.17 per kilogram on the product.
