3.17 million tons New Output Record of Aluminium
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's refined copper output reached 894,000 tons aluminum extrusion in August, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%. The output from January to August reached 6.527 million tons, an increase of 4.9% year-on-year.
China's copper production in August was 1.949 million tons, an increase of 20.1% year-on-year; January-August production increased by 12.2% to 13.762 million tons.
China's zinc production in August extruded aluminium increased by 5.1 percentage points year-on-year to 539,000 tons, and the output from January to August increased by 4.3 percentage points to 4.109 million tons.
China's lead production in August increased by 18% year-on-year to 564,000 tons; the aluminium profile total output from January to August was 3.938 million tons, an increase of 5.5% year-on-year.
Aluminum output in August was 3.17 million tons, setting a record for monthly output, an increase of 5.5% year-on-year. China's alumina production in August increased by 66% year-on-year to 6.4 million tons, and the output from January to August fell 4% year-on-year to 47.7 million tons.
The output of downstream aluminum alloy in August increased by 10.6 percentage points year-on-year to 812,000 tons, and from January to August, it increased by 3.6% year-on-year to 5.8 million tons.
